The story is mapped out for a ways after this, in a way that will get things back on some sort of track. Lots will be explained in about the next 10 strips, and several things will be changed radically about our gloom-ridden friends. It was: "Stick Margarine thinks of the happiest things, it's the same as having wings!" It was just too long, and I never really liked it. So I changed it. This is really going to make putting together strips SO much easier. I've never gotten to work with pressure sensitivity before (the old tablet pc didn't have it), but it's pretty nice.
